This approx 1 hectare site is located to the east of Whissonsett Road, on the southern edge of the village of Colkirk.
Planning approval was secured in July 2019 for a development of 21 dewellings - comprising a mix of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom properties. In keeping with our community focus the proposed development includes 5 affordable homes, which will be available on both a shared ownership and affordable rent basis.
The proposed dwellings are set back from the Whissonsett Road frontage, behind an area of wooded open space utilising the existing mature trees and hedgerows boardering the site.
As part of the development it is planned to provide improved pedestrian links along Whissonsett Road, linking the village to the allotments and playing fields.
